What is "Sign in with…" (OAuth)?
Using your Google, Apple, or Facebook account to log into other apps without creating a new password.
The app never sees your password — it receives a limited permission slip instead, which is safer than reusing passwords. Review the connected apps in your account settings yearly and remove ones you no longer use, since each retains some access.
