What is Passphrase?

A password made of several random words strung together — long, hard to crack, and easy to remember.

Length matters more than symbols. Four or more unrelated words (like 'correct-battery-otter-village') beat short jumbles like 'P@ssw0rd!' because computers guess common substitution patterns easily but struggle with sheer length and randomness. A passphrase is the recommended style for the few passwords you must memorise, such as your password manager's master password.
