What is Screen lock?
The PIN, pattern, fingerprint, or face check that stops anyone else from opening your device.
A screen lock does double duty: it keeps out whoever finds or steals the device, and on modern phones it activates full encryption of your data. Use six digits or more, avoid birthdays, and set it to lock after a minute of inactivity.
