What is CCPA / CPRA?
California's privacy law giving residents the right to know, delete, and opt out of the sale of their personal data.
Its most visible effect is the 'Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information' link on many sites — clicking it is a one-step legal opt-out. Many other US states have since passed similar laws, so these rights increasingly apply beyond California.
