What is Data broker?
A company that collects and sells personal information about people, usually without any direct relationship with them.
Data brokers assemble profiles — address, age, relatives, purchases, interests — from public records, apps, and other sources, then sell them to advertisers and anyone who pays. 'People search' sites that publish your home address are the most visible examples. Most reputable brokers must offer an opt-out, and privacy laws such as GDPR and CCPA give you the legal right to demand deletion.
